84% of Patients Want a Dentist Who Has Been Referred by Friends, Family, and Co-Workers
Wow! A November 2015 consumer survey by Futuredontics found that while much has changed in the dental profession over the past 20 years, one thing has remained constant: The importance of word-of-mouth dental referrals. In a survey of 3,000 dental patients nationwide, 84% of the patients said they ask for personal recommendations from family, friends, and co-workers when they search for a new dentist. This is up from 74% in 2013. The reason could be that there is a proliferation of “chain” dental offices and increased marketing in large neighborhoods so it is becoming more difficult for patients to sort through all the options with confidence. Patients are being more proactive in asking others for advice. They will likely visit our website or social media pages prior to calling, to do their own due diligence. We are often complimented on the content of our website and blog.

He is also one of Florida’s most prepared dentists to solve complex oral health problems. So, if you hear someone complaining about the problems in their mouth that have built up or gone unsolved, you can recommend Dr. Alexander with confidence.

Stop by the front desk for our business cards to give to others. Because we make it a practice of asking new patients how they heard about us, we will know to thank you.
And while we’re speaking of our gratitude, we want to thank you for being our patient and also your dental referrals. We truly appreciate that you have put your trust in us to serve you. We are grateful that you have chosen us for your dental care. We look forward to having more patients like you.
